heat index

This week my weatherman loved to talk about the heat index.
Let's just say it was Hot. And Humid.
And during a Missouri summer those words are capitalized.
Yes sir they are.
My respite is sparkling water.
It's refreshing, I think it must be the bubbles.
And when the heat index is 105,
and it is still only June,
well,
I've earned it.

I've found a new tasty drink - water with lemon. Nothing fancy or difficult. I just fill a pitcher with water, cut a lemon, squeeze its juice into the pitcher, drop in the lemons, pour a glass and enjoy. Bliss and magically tastes so much better than plain old water!

Hot hot hot! You can say that again! Where do you find such a treat? Is it flavored? Or just sparkling water?

You would love living in Germany. The Germans drinking carbonated water daily. We need to go together...maybe we will take the boys. They rarely have a day of 105 degrees!

I gotta be honest...not something I miss...it cools down so nice here at night, I open the windows and it is amazing. I visited my sister in Idaho who does not now nor ever will have AC. What a world. Here's sending you some cool evenings!
