Mud Soup {for the soul}

It rained last night.

For Zachary and Lily that means one thing: mud soup.

They make mud soup for animals. There is lots of teamwork and interesting conversation as they prepare the culinary masterpiece.

Today my children reminded me that I adore the monotony and mess of this beautiful stage in our lives together. I love their simple requests, sweet little voices, and the seemingly endless amounts of time we have together in our cozy little world.

May mud be the soup du jour for many years to come.

I love how you capture all the "important stuff". Your children will look back at your amazing photographs and be able to relive all the little things that make childhood great..it's the little stuff that you remember later and they will have that always! You're the best!

It's good to remember that children are washable and memories are priceless.

I promise I thought I commented on this. I guess I didn't and just thought I TOLD you how amazing of a mom you are. That you enjoy the little moments, which makes me enjoy mine more, that it is obvious you are having fun and laughing right alongside them, that it seems like you are enjoying this whole childhood thing just as much as your first time around.

I love your blog Tara.
