anticipation...

My little Lily bee turns 2 on Friday!
**i. love. my. children's. birthdays.**
Think I actually like them more than my own...ohhh the anticipation. I get so excited thinking about THEIR wonder and amazement on this special little day! During nap time today, I did a little trial run on the cupcakes for her party. I've eaten FAR too many. yum.

And, not to bring down the happiness quotient of this particular post, but I honestly wanted to thank you, my friends, for your lovely praise and encouraging words. There have been a few gloomy days overhead lately (don't worry, someday when it sorts itself out a bit...I'll record it), your thoughtful comments and random emails have been a bright spot. truly.

Quote from Tara: "Lily is having a birthday this week. She is only two so I am not going to get to crazy."
But of course, Tara does not know how to do mediocre. You are the best. I cannot wait to see the final result.

You must have the luckiest kids! Sounds like you might even be more excited than they are! What a great mom.

SOOOO fun! I wish I had more creativity when it comes to birthdays. You are awesome and creative as always! Your pictures are great and I'm excited to see them from the actual birthday. I didn't realize that she and Halle had such close birthdays. Halle's is on Tues. I can't believe she is almost 1! Time goes way too fast!

Only the cutest invitations ever. Seriously, can you post daily on things you do each day because I know you are a crafty genius that only shares the occasional item and that always leaves me itching for more Tara!

Mmm, cupcakes sound yummy! Those cards are adorable too. Seriously, whenever you are ready to publish your first craftiness/supermom/homemaker/partythrowing book, I will be the first one to buy it!!! Lily looks so cute in her bee costume, is that what she's wearing for Halloween?
