Houston Zoo

75 degrees and sunny. Perfect day to explore the zoo in our new city.
My kids were MUCH more into the fish and reptiles. I guess it was because all the fuzzy animals like bears and big cats were sleeping.
Obsessed. We stayed at the Comodo Dragon exhibit the loooongest for Zach. He's been talking about the Comodo Dragon all day! The only thing this guy did was open and close his eyes...but that was enough for Zach, he is hooked!

There was a beautiful reflection pool filled with Koi where we ate our lunch (the fish ate our lunch too!)

My favorite of the day. "The Timer"

Zach and Lily thought it was great fun to run to the bench as fast as we could before the camera took our picture!

Fun! I'm glad you sent some of your Houston warmth up here - we were at 78 yesterday! No worries, it's supposed to be normal Oregon rainy this week. So, I can't believe that Julie is your visiting teacher!! It's so unbelievably crazy. I think you guys will get along great. Take care of her! She's like my sister. I love that "timer" picture - you all look so happy!

You will love your new home! :) Oh wow I forgot how good it feels to all be healthy. It feels soooo good to not be going through 10000 tissues and hearing all kinds of crazy coughs from everyone here. Thank goodness for good health!

I love these zoo photos! Looks like so much fun! You are such a great mom. You all look like you are having so much fun! :)

I can barely look at your blog...because of the picture of the snake! I get scared just thinking about it. I will be in big trouble if my kids love snakes!!! I am soooo afraid!

ahhh, 75 degrees? Could that be more perfect? How's the house hunting? It looks like you have found the more important parts of the town though, the zoo, the bball court! I love nice weather.
